Heres one that made all the headlines - The WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE SHORTS, worth an estimated £30,000 which we designed and made for Amir Khan when he fought Devon Alexander in 2014.

The iconic 24 carat gold shorts broke the headlines when Amir announced to the press ahead of the fight, and here is how we made them and what made them worth so much.

One of Amir’s sponsors provided a luxury exclusive piece of silk woven with 24 carat gold thread, it was so luxurious and the amount provided lent itself perfectly to create the waistband section of the shorts. The main leg areas were in a super fine white matte lamb skin leather with a black crocodile embossed leather arched side panel. The leathers were shipped in from one of our suppliers in New York and the interior lining of the shorts was in a beautiful pure silk tiger print from our luxury London fabric designer.

We had to take so much care cutting the 24 carat gold silk as it was worth so much, there was absolutely no room for error! At this point on our journey we had only been making boxing shorts for a matter of weeks, so it was so important with such a statement project that the sewing and combination of leathers and silks was handled to perfection.

Amir went on to make further headlines with our shorts as he chose to donate the £30,000 shorts to aid the victims of the Peshawar Army Public School where terrorists killed 132 children. It is great to see that our work can help further outside of the boxing ring.
